If you're team is in the 3.5 or 4.0 divisions your team will be playing on Saturday (August 10) starting at 9:00am. Please forward this link to your teammate so they may stay in the loop with what is going on.

Don't worry about printing out a schedule as we will give you and your partner a schedule upon arrival.

"Game Specific" Group Play Schedule

Orange - 3.5 Teams (15 teams), Blue - 4.0 Teams (8 teams)

General Schedule

• 8:15 - 8:55am (Saturday, August 10) - Check In and Get Warmed Up!

  • Checking in consists of signing our waiver form in person and heading to the pavilion that is right next to the courts. At the pavilion, we will have a schedule & info sheet to give to you and a custom BridgeFest Sweat Towel! 

  • If your first game does not start until 9:20 or later, please do not feel the need to arrive as early as the other players playing at 9:00. However, try to arrive 30 minutes before your first game and if you want to participate in the raffle, you must be present at 8:55am.

• 8:55 - 9:00am - "Fusion Sports Announcement" and Raffle!

  • We will be raffling off one Franklin Pickleball Bundle worth over $175. All participants are automatically entered into the raffle. *If the winner of the raffle is not present, we will draw another name*

• 9:00 - 10:40am - Group Play Games

  • Group Play Games - Within every division, there will be 3 or 4 Group Play games where we will match your team up against other teams. Don't worry, the group play games only matter for seeding purposes and we believe this will be a good opportunity for you and your teammate to get a good feel of the competition and strategize going into the double-elimination tournament. The seeding for the double-elimination tournament will be based on the winning % during group play with the tiebreaker as average point differential.

• 10:50 - 1:30pm - Double-Elimination Tournament

  • The Double-Elimination Tournament will start shortly after the Group Play Games within your division concludes. We will make an announcement when your bracket is posted.

  • Please head to the pavilion to see when/where your team plays!

  • Be sure to check the bracket periodically as we may be a little bit ahead/behind schedule.

"Late Night" Singles Tourney BONUS

Singles (1v1) Tournament Details - To register, all that you need to do is sign up in person (completely FREE) during your initial registration at the pavilion at Lowell on Saturday, August 10 when you arrive for your doubles event. Only people who are playing in the BridgeFest Doubles Tournament can enter in the singles tournament. The format of it is TBD depending on how many people sign up but it will be single elimination with divisions being separated by Men/Women and skill level (depending on the # of entries) and prizes going to the winners! If you do not register at the pavilion for the 1v1 tournament, you will not be included as brackets will be made during the double elimination tournament.

Parking

For parking, Lowell Charter Township has asked for everyone to park in the Impact Church parking lot adjacent to the Lowell Pickleball court's parking lot. Please see the map below for a reference.

Game Rules

• After each game is finished, one member from the winning team MUST report the score to a Fusion Sports Team Member at the pavilion.

• If your team is not present 5 minutes after the time your team is supposed to play, this may result in your team forfeiting the game.

• Games will be played to 11 following standard USA Pickleball Rules.

• Before each game, teams will be allowed up to 3 minutes to warmup but please do not go longer than this so we can stay on schedule ;)

• Each team will have 1 60 second timeout that they can use during the game at their discretion.

• After 6 points, teams will switch sides.

• There are no line judges! The player closest to the ball is responsible for calling the ball in or out.

• If there is a disagreement about a ball being in/our or a potential rule violation, please REDO the point!

• On the game schedule during the Group Play games, we will indicate which team starts on the North and South Side. The North Side Team will serve first. During the double-elimination tournament, please spin a paddle or play rock-paper-scissors to determine what side teams will start on.

• No fighting or foul language will be tolerated. Please be respectful of your opponent and understand that we are all here to have a good time😁

• Starting at noon there will be Food trucks next to the pickleball courts and FREE ICE CREAM!!!!!!

• Championship Games for the Doubles Events will be recorded and posted on our website by Friday, August 16. We are not planning to record the championship games for the singles tournament due to the high volume of championship games that will be happening at once.

• Water and Sports drinks will be provided.
